Session 1: Introduction - Thursday, February 27, 2025, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Zoom online.
Session 2: Saturday, March 8, 2025, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in-person.
Session 3: Sunday, March 9, 2025, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in-person.
Registration closes Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Walk-In registrations are not allowed.

SMALL BOAT Instructor LEVEL 1
The Cleveland Foundry Community Rowing and Sailing Center is excited to host a
US Sailing Small Boat Instructor Level 1 course THIS SUMMER!
​
US Sailing offers courses for sailing counselors, instructors and coaches at varying levels of expertise. Courses are hosted by boating programs across the nation, year-round. Each level provides a structured progression and offers opportunities for advancement. The 3-Day in-person section of the Level 1 course is approximately 30 hours and students will be evaluated on their teaching ability, sailing skills, powerboat handling skills and on-water class management, among other topics. The in-person section of the Level 1 course can be completed after the online section of the course- please carefully review the US Sailing instructions and requirements during registration on the US Sailing website.
