The Cleveland Foundry Juniors Competitive program is open to student athletes in the 8th* - 12th grades.  For 8th grade CFJ Competitive Team eligibility, see the 8th Grade Eligibility section below

CFJ Competitive Varsity Team Spring Season

CFJ Competitive Varsity Team Spring Practice Schedule

Open Gym*:  Monday - Thursday  2:30pm - 5:00pm

High School Rowing Conditioning:   Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 7:00pm

*Open Gym is a monitored gym experience open to all registered Foundry athletes.   There is no formal instruction during this time.

March 3 - May 22, 2025

Monday - Thursday:      5:00pm - 7:30pm

Saturday Session 1:    7:00am - 9:30am

         Saturday Session 2:    9:30am - 12:00pm      

CFJ Competitive Varsity Team Spring Racing Schedule

A confirmed regatta schedule will be announced

before the start of the Spring season.  

Final race readiness will be at the discretion of the coaching staff.

$1450.00

8th Grade Eligibility

Athletes going into 8th grade with prior rowing experience may be eligible to sign up for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team. 

Criteria for signing up for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team as an 8th grade athlete:

• Must submit a request to register by contacting the coaching staff at foundryrowing@clevelandfoundry.org 

• Must be an 8th Grade student for school year 2024-2025

• Must have prior rowing experience (generally, a full Spring or Fall season)

• Must have an interest in racing and competition

• Must have the ability to commit to the practice and racing schedule

The coaching staff will review all requests.   You will be notified a decision of eligibility for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team after review of your request.
